About the workshop
In this energetic course you will be guided to develop your ideas from drawings and quick clay sketches, or make a study to produce a limestone sculpture. The subtractive process of carving is challenging, rewarding, and immediate. Learn to "see" the sculpture in the block and how to materialise it whilst learning about the tools and methods of carving and developing your sculptural language.
There is now the option of a 2,3 or 4 day workshop. We recommend a full block of limestone for the 4 day workshop, and a half block for the 2 day workshop, but the choice is yours!
