A WEEKEND WORKSHOP IN PURE ABSTRACT COMPOSITION
About the course…
This is a fun weekend workshop which will focus purely on abstract design and increasing your vocabulary of sculptural language (while not having the usual mess of clay, plaster, and stone dust!). You’ll explore the interesting challenge of making three dimensional compositions out of planar shapes and how the space between becomes part of the piece and “channels” movement. You’ll be using cardboard and hot glue guns to design one or more pieces that would be suitable for metal fabrication. Suitable for all levels of experience.
