Kid’s CLAY school
About the class
Your kids will enjoy learning about different ways of making sculpture which will give them a fun and simple introduction to this ancient tradition. We'll explore different approaches to using air drying clay to model different shapes and characters, as well as some simplified plaster mould making and casting. We'll also have a go at some safe carving! Some watercolour/acrylic painting will be used to brighten up the projects too!
Materials are included in the price, and for mum and /or dad the 45 minute sessions offer the perfect opportunity to slip away to grab your weekend coffee at the cafés which are in walking distance, or have a cheeky beverage at Stone & Wood Brewery which is practically next door!
